This level 1 lesson lasts for 2 hours, giving you ample time to enjoy the experience and the scenery. The minimum requirement is 2 people and for £45 – which includes board hire – you get great value for money.
Liquid Motion can also help take your boarding to a higher level with a ‘Wave and Distance’ course. Over a full day or afternoon, they’ll teach you everything from safely catching the swell and riding the wave to trimming your board for distance paddling. The course will stretch your skill but will also show you the upper limits paddleboarding can be taken to as a sport.
If you already have the required BSUPA level 1 skills and you are keen to socialize with like minded enthusiasts, the SUP Club is the perfect mix. The Club meets every Tuesday evening during the summer at Orcombe Point – the western end of the Jurassic Coast. This will give you ample opportunity to develop your skills even more in a social atmosphere with a meal and drink afterwards. There’s no need to book, all Liquid Motion asks is a call in advance and £15 for your board hire.
